EDVARD MUNCH // ATHENS

November 26th, 2010 - February 27th, 2011

Since our well-received exhibition "Toulouse-Lautrec and the Belle Époque in Athens and Paris" we wanted to exhibit the work of Edvard Munch in order for our public to examine how two contemporary artists could view the world in such different terms.
The Herakleidon Museum is proud to announce the exhibition "Edvard Munch, Beyond the Scream" which will be on display from November 26th, 2010 until February 27th, 2011. The exhibition will include 80 graphic works of Edvard Munch from the Collection of the Tel Aviv Museum of Art - Gift of Charles and Evelyn Kramer, New York. The Museum will publish a special edition catalogue in two languages, Greek and English.
