Athina Antoniadou was born in 1962 in Cyprus and studied in North America (Paris/Texas). In 1985 she completed her Bachelor of Fine Artsthe California College of Arts and Crafts in Oakland. Her traveling leads her to Greece, Italy, France, Great Britain, Sewden and the Czech Rep. with intermediate breaks in Cyprus.

In 1989, after receiving a scolarship from the Complutense University of Madrid, she went to the spanish capital were she lived until 1993.
Since 2001 she maintains a studio in Berlin and continues to travel in Africa, Peru and Argentina.
Her works have been exhibited in solo and group exhibitions and are in many private collections and museums in Greece.

Athina Antoniadou travels and explores places and manners and then carries them as a naration at a personal diary using the colors, materials and forms into her works... With her work she opens the windows to light the diversity and beauty that derives from her. We are drifted in a world where, with the joy of reading a fairy tale, we are allowed to redefine the world, the myth and at the same time redefine our everyday story.

The totel-like sculpture takes a position as a separate entity-a proposal for us to read beyond the means of the image, allowing the vicinity of the meeting.

A personal path to closing a cycle of wandering Athina art works to liberate the light of beauty.
