Fairy tailes and myths are Yiorgos Koumentakis' timeless love. Many of his works are in dialogue with the tales and myths. One can see that either through the economy of the performance, or through self-completed musical projects. The tales of the Grimm Brothers (1996) spoke to the world of classic fairy tales through a show that was loved by the young and the old equally.

The Bear's light step is a performance that draws its material from the world of literature and more specifically the one that tells a 'tale', seting a lot of information that reveile new posibbilities for dialogue for observation of the world and also knowing one self.

Away from any sense of teaching and through an inter-active development of the performance, childrean as spectators and as participants, make (if not the answers) new and creative questions for others and for themselves.
