Mogwai is ...a magical, powerful sound where just a word is heard... The contrast of the music on the background...

Mogwai, the scottish band that is linked to authentic post rock sound and has created its own music school, is coming to Athens on Friday 21st October at Fuzz Club and on Saturday the 22nd October at Block 33 in Thessaloniki and together these 2 autumn nights they will seduce us with their melancholic lyricism and unique musical soundscapes.

Mogwai is a special music collective and is the most cult musical project that has come from the Scottish school the last two decades. Many consider them to be an "intellectual" music mix of post, art rock and instrumental guitar, with songs and melodies that awake emotions and etherial images. Where Sonic Youth, My Bloody Valentine and The Cure terminate, Mogwai come, adding musical touches even from instrumental metal. Pioneers of a stage that counts names such as: Sigur Ross, Godspeed You! Black Emperor.
